The best color palette we would see all day. Unlike New England, there are relatively few maple trees in the Shenandoah Valley. Thus, the palette tends to be more of a yellow-brown-green effect. In addition, between the hurricane and a couple of storms, many of the maples which were there had already dropped all their leaves.
